Working with textiles is a joy of discovery and connection. Fabric, threads, tools all tell a story mostly carried by women, that goes back in time and is found in all cultures. So, when I turn my time and attention to work with textiles, I experience the freedom to observe and play beyond boundaries.

I enjoy working with wool and felting landscapes and abstracts but in the last few years I have discovered a passion for stitching, particularly creating portraits with stitch. So many expressions, colours, mystery of a lifetime can be captured in just one image! I feel privileged that I can embark on the adventure of “making” and get to show the “picture” of that person in my stitch.

My learning is intuitive I always find a course or workshop that will teach me the skills that I need to forward my work in textiles.

I work with women holding retreats and courses of profound inquiry and I create and teach bespoken programs to enhance work environments through compassion, but when it comes to my textile work, it is curiosity and playfulness that is the guiding force.
