The Inner Marriage weaves together our inner and outer world, through ritual, contemplation, making and sharing from our truth
Although this is not therapy there is a very real opportunity to discover and transform our believes and narrative about us in the world
Imagine:
Finding those parts of ourself that have been forgotten, calling to them, bringing them in, tending to them, and owning them.
Sharing stories, speaking out your truth and bearing witness from an open, connected place within yourself
Exploring and Realigning the masculine and the feminine within us and celebrating their journeys.
Having time to find out more about your inner creative and spiritual self.
Looking at your life through the wisdom of the most powerful and universal archetypes common to all indigenous cultures
Discovering your inner Call and the wisdom to manifest it in the world
Being supported and witnessed in your courageous path of self-discovery and commitment
Learning from the ancient word of stories and be guided by the wisdom they bring.
Crafting your own symbol of commitment to yourself and to your inner path.
Being part of a ceremony to hold and inspire each other and give strength to your inner marriage

The Venue
Balabrook is a very special space located on Dartmoor, Devon, I love the venue and I am offering this retreat to a limited number of women.
This centre has been hosting pilgrims of the heart for many years, and now we have the opportunity to sit there together, held by the ancestral arms of the ancient land.
All rooms are warm and well catered to offer a restful and inspiring space for retreaters.
We will be working outside by the river and in circle around the fire under the sun and the moon light.
Inside our space is clean and transparent with excellent views to the ever moving landscape of Dartmoor

The Inner Marriage is my creation of a specific frame work for the processes used during this retreat.
This offering is unique and it has been born from my understanding of loss and love, of connection and relationships, of conscious and unconscious energies within us and above all the immense power of transformation that we can hold when we dive into our inner life while being well-supported and safely guided.
All practices are “served” in a feast of Compassion.
Meditation, Dream Tending, Story Telling and Finding ourselves in Stories, Ritual, Sacred Sharing in Circle, Holding deep Silence, Manifesting in the Making, Specialised Craft Workshop, Voice, Singing an all my experience and insights of holding groups for the last 30 years.

This retreat was beyond expectation. Paloma held such a caring, nourishing, down to earth space ensuring that I felt truly welcome and seen. The women’s retreat I attended was perfect in every way. Paloma holds the most magical of spaces.

I really loved the way Paloma gently, skilfully guided us through the 5 days with her own life wisdom interwoven with deep dives, deep rest, learning new crafts, listening, sharing, dancing, delicious food, all surrounded by the beautiful natural Bala Brook and Dartmoor energy.

The inner marriage retreat was a wonderful space where we were invited to be more fully ourselves, to explore our different facets and darker corners, whilst always in deeply nourishing connection with the other women, the land and to spirit.
Paloma guided each day with such fluidity, warmth, creativity and passion, and it was an honour and a joy to hear her stories, so full of wisdom and so full of love. Personally I find Paloma to be so inspiring, she is deeply intuitive, she speaks from her heart, she shows up for herself, she fully inhabits her teachings, she believes in herself and she shares her abundance of gifts. To sit in circle with her is to receive some of these gifts.
The pace of the retreat was just right, with plenty of time to rest, to dip in the Dart, to enjoy the overflowing flowers, the heady scent of roses, the tranquility and quiet.
And the food was really wonderful: nourishing, healthy, delicious and locally sourced. And cake everyday! Deep inner work builds a healthy appetite!
